Coming Together

After we get our invoice from Lotus we'll have all the financial stuff taken care of. Many things are included in the package so we just bring money to China for shopping and some of our meals - in Beijing breakfast is covered for two of us (working out the details for the other two) since we are all squeezing into one room. We are paying for an extra bed so you would think that warrants meals for the extra cost. We will have lunches on all three of our tour days and none of us are big dinner eaters when we travel anyway. Breakfast for all is included at The White Swan. Last trip we just ate breakfast fairly late and then only ate one one other meal out the rest of the day. Some outings may also include meals. We do need to watch out for the restaurant we weren't aware of that is by the medical clinic. If anyone knows the name let us know. We tried to eat at the Chinese place with all the live animals out front, but for some reason they never took our order so we paid for our drinks and left. It was pretty strange. We also have a little shopping we'd like to do and we get to pay for vaccinations that could cost up to $400 only to probably have them re-done when we get back home. Fun!
