And We're Off!!!

The time has finally come to head to the airport and hop on that plane to Beijing! It seems so long ago on that January day that I had given up hope of receiving a call. When the phone rang and I looked at the caller ID I felt so excited and nervous all at once. All I could think was please just get that e-mail to us so I can see my daughter's face! Now we head to China and see that face not in a picture but in person. In less than a week we will meet this sweet little girl face to face for the first time. As excited as I am for us it hurts to think about her foster family and what they must be going through. As far as I know she has lived with them since January 2009 and has to feel like a member of the family. Please pray. Not only for Isabella and the rest of us going to China. Please pray also for the only family she has known until this point. I truly expect some rough days ahead for all of us but I know we will get through them and will be grateful for the way everything plays out in the end. Will post again as soon as we can!
