After walking to the photo shop and having the visa photos taken we walked over to the medical clinic. We were the only three families there so it wasn't quite the chaos of the last time, but none of the children seemed to enjoy the doctor probing and poking them. Then it was sadly time for two of the children - Ellie included - to have five vaccinations. She started crying as soon as she saw all the white coats and screamed until after it was all over. After waiting the half hour we went back to the hotel stopping at Starbucks for a couple of ham & cheese paninis. Ellie fell asleep on her daddy's shoulder so she was pretty heavy for him to carry. We discovered at the check that she is indeed 22 pounds. She seems so delicate and yet she is a solid little girl. We will most likely hang in the room the rest of the day until we know how she will react to so many shots at once.
That just makes me so mad that they are doing this to the kids!! So unhealthy and dangerous for them plus their shots are worthless!! Sorry for the rant, glad things are still going well. And we will keep her in our prayers that there is no reaction to the shots!!!
