That face! How could you not just fall in love with it? This is Chris' favorite picture of Ella. Mine is the one where she looks like she's ready to play catch. Something about it makes me feel like there is a smiling little girl inside. The darn referral pictures never show the children smiling. Perhaps later updated pictures will. Is it because she never smiles or is it like a passport photo and the children aren't allowed to smile? As her mommy I hope she has smiled many times in her short life, but there's no guarantee of that. This I do know: when we bring her into our family she will be smiling plenty. Of course, she'll also cry, get mad, and if she's anything like her sister she'll throw things! No matter, we will love her ferociously anyway! I can't wait to kiss those chubby cheeks and squeeze those fleshy little arms!
